During the summer of 2007, I had the opportunity to work with Sedepac AC, (Servicio, desarrollo y Paz, AC) and the American Friends Service Committee. We worked in a small village in northern Puebla. I first started writing e-mails home, once a week, during this experience. The “Copales” blog posts are these e-mails, in their original form with added pictures. The tradition continued on future trips and those e-mails eventually developed to what this travel blog is today.
